Craft workshops

Following their success last year, Festive Friday craft activities return this month, which are free for Chapel visitors and passholders:

Friday 6th December, 1-4pm - Fantastic Christmas Bunting craft workshop. Come along to create some beautiful bunting to decorate your room!

Friday 13th December, 1-4pm - Handmade and unique Christmas Cards craft workshop. Join us to make a lovely handmade card for your family, best friend or teacher!

Friday 20th December, 1-4pm- Exciting Christmas Photo Props craft workshop. Make your Christmas photos even more fun this year with some Christmas props!

Lunchtime carols

This year, three lunchtime carol concerts have been arranged during December and these are free for Chapel visitors and passholders:

Saturday 7th December, 1-1.45pm: 'Quartet Exelsior' from Heriot Watt University

Saturday 14th December, 1-1.45pm: Schola Cantorum of St Patrick Edinburgh

Tuesday 17th December, 1-1.45pm: 'Watt Quartet' from Heriot Watt University

Evening events

Saturday 7th December, 7.30pm: Rudsambee Company of Singers present an exciting night of festive music from around the world, from traditional carols to more large scale contemporary works. Highlights include Sweelinck's Hodie Christus Natus Est, and O Magnum Mysterium, by Javier Busto. Ticketed by the group. Sunday 15 December, 5pm: Christmas by Candlelight. A chance to sing and hear some favourite Christmas carols, with readings. Music accompanied by the MacTaggart Scott (Loanhead) Band and John Cranston, organist.  No charge but donations for the Rock Trust
